June 14th 8th Annual Andy Ross Charity Motorcycle Ride Hosted by the Trenton Fire & Police. Police escorted ride with a halfway stop at Milan Dragway for refreshments then back to Elizabeth Park for lunch and live entertainment, approx 90 miles. Buster's Place, Vreeland & Jefferson in Trenton will have bkfst avail from 7:30am to 10:30am. All proceeds to the Andy Ross. June 26th - 29th The Linden Summer Happening Festival 2008... Be sure to join us in downtown Linden for a weekend of fun for all ages. Special events are happening every day starting June 26th thru the 29th of June 2008. The five day event will be an event that you and your family will remember. The Linden Summer Happening Festival "Old Mill Days" has attracted all age groups since 1974. The event is located in downtown Linden (a city population of 3400) and attracts around an average of 50,000 people every year. Thursday... Kicking off our Thursday's events, Chelsea Roberts will be performing live in the Entertainment Tent from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM. Then starting at 6:00 PM "Linden Summer Happening COMEDY NIGHT". Be sure to check out our new Comedy Night featuring HBO's Bryan McCree and 4 other comedians... Yes that's right 4 other comedians. If you love to laugh this is one show you don't want to miss... Also be sure to check out our large "Midway" opening at 6 PM. Fun for kids and adults of all ages. We will also be having a Playstation Rock Band Tournament for all ages. Starting at 6:00 PM, ending at 8:00 PM. Located at our new Union Block Tent. Friday... brings a large assortment of activities from "Dunk Tank", our annual "Pedal Pusher Tractor Pull", "Wee Ladd/Wee Miss" contest, "Street Dance" downtown Linden, our large "Craft Show" with crafters from the area displaying their handicrafts.
